Learning to talk is a naturally occurring process as children are surrounded by spoken language. For learning to read, though, children need explicit, systematic phonics instruction. Phonics is the bedrock for building and boosting a child's ability with reading, spelling, pronunciation and unknown words.  

 

The Popcorn Phonics Reading Cubs and Roaring Readers Programs aim to gradually build reading skills for a child to transition into language fluency with ease at the child’s own pace. Our unique language programs introduce English in the Indian context to suit the multilingual diversity of our country. The ultimate goal of our program is that children develop confident English reading and speaking skills.

Our Reading Cubs Program’s emphasis is on building the foundation of phonics, by focussing on the letter sounds, vowels and basic reading in an organic way.

 

The Roaring Readers Program focuses on building and reinforcing the structure of more complex language skills of reading, comprehension, writing, long vowel sounds and word families. 

 

By the end of the 2 levels,  your child will be able to confidently read books and cruise through basic comprehension.
